In 2004 while meeting some of my friends from Atargatis who were in a recording session @ Helion Studios, Munich at that time, I met nearly by surprise René from Equilibrium. We listened together to the raw material from my album "First" and found out to share the same passion for epic and dramatic scores. Though working quite differently, René with focus on orchestral arrangements and myself coming from the sonical world of synthetic scores we talked about the vacant keyboardist slot at Equilibrium. "Equi" was reforming and a new drummer was also found, so we gave it a try and had some rehearsals together.

Quickly the pact was made and a newborn Equilibrium was touring Germany the next months. After some shows with Illdisposed and other death-metal heads we had a very nice show at the 2005 WACKEN OPEN AIR...
